On the first day of Activity II, participants also had the chance to experience one of the important and most used ECOPRINT techniques. The trainers first explained how important it is to purify lignocellulosic and animal-based textile fabrics, then talked about mordanting methods, which is the process of preparing fibers to take color using lemon juice and random metals, and finally demonstrated the steaming/boiling methods of the ECOPRINT process.
