Proposed Activity

In June 2024, our partner, Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), held the third activity of our project in Warsaw, Poland. In this activity, the hosting partner and other partners selected five unemployed and disadvantaged women participants with fewer opportunities in Poland facing socio-economic issues or any other potential source of discrimination. Kastamonu University and Kastamonu Sarı Konak Women Initiative Production and Business Cooperative also selected five unemployed and disadvantaged women participants together. Association for Cultural and Educational Development YOUTH ON BOARD selected five unemployed women participants from Skopje. This activity brought together 15 women participants in Warsaw, Poland.

The chosen women learned about the ecological approach, the necessity of environmental consciousness, and sustainability before putting their knowledge into practice with ECO-PRINT. In addition, all participants who travel to Poland engaged in intercultural encounters with participants from the partner countries.

The expected results of this activity were to;

  • certify the compulsory domestic work done by women, to turn this disadvantaged situation into an advantage for them.
  • contribute to increasing the employment of disadvantaged groups through education.
  • provide easy access to education services with distance education modules for women who cannot attend face-to-face
    courses and create certified programs.
  • empower women in careers, entrepreneurship, digital skills, and financial literacy through education and ensure their
    participation in social and economic life.
  • create a strong social education network for women.
  • encourage women to develop themselves by providing professional and personal development training
