This project increased sustainability thinking and protection of the surrounding environment to make all participants and representatives become more responsible producers and consumers of the consciousness of the environment. Another result of this project was to empower women with fewer career opportunities, increase their entrepreneurial thinking, digital skills, and financial literacy through education, and ensure their participation in social and economic life. Furthermore, the participants had an experience on cultural and historical experiences in each partner country and had international cooperation experience with the Erasmus+ projects.

The participants were taught about the ECO-PRINT techniques to produce eco-printed textile materials and a collection of eco-printed textile products such as scarves, pillows, vanity bags, aprons, tablecloths, runners, etc. Learning these techniques and how to turn fabrics into a textile product helped the participants gain marketable skills. Some participants had already found an opportunity to share their knowledge about eco-printing with the local communities and some young people from other cities of Türkiye.

The primary concrete outcome of this project was to create and promote learning opportunities of ECO-PRINT for unemployed women with fewer opportunities. In addition to this purpose, diversify textile products and ensure that they were offered to the home economy by these women in the EU. Therefore, we wanted to successfully train the participants to create their own designed fabrics and items made of them in the manner of environmental awareness to inspire their own entrepreneurial ventures. In this manner, we successfully organized workshops and training sessions on ECO-PRINT techniques on fabrics and even on ceramics. A significant number of participants reported improved confidence and capability to create and market their own eco-friendly products. Participants created a variety of unique textile products using local flora and sustainable practices. This diversification added value to the regional textile industry while promoting sustainable production methods. Some visitors to the exhibition held in Kastamonu stated that they might buy these kinds of products if these women continued to be produced, which would directly contribute to women’s household income and foster their entrepreneurial spirit. Another In addition to these outcomes, the partnership between organizations fostered a rich exchange of ideas, techniques, and cultural perspectives, strengthening international cooperation.
