The participants were also taught one of the traditional handicrafts in Kastamonu. This handicraft, known as Stone Printing or Sini Cloth Printing in Kastamonu, is known as Wood Printing in Türkiye. Stone printing is one of the handicrafts that have survived from past to present in Kastamonu. In the historical process, Kastamonu city center, Daday, Devrekani and Seydiler districts have been the districts where lithography was done. Printing is done by dipping the patterns of different sizes, with floral and geometric motifs, on plain white calico fabric, hand-carved or embossed on linden wood, into specially prepared monochrome paint and printing them.
