In the last day of the activity, Dr. Sanja Risteski from Goce Delcev University of Shtip gave a speech about the situation with the textile waste generated in textile industries in Shtip, North Macedonia, and possibilities for its reuse in new environmentally friendly products. This presentation raised awareness of the participants about the waste from the textile industry and propose a way to go from awareness to action.
The participants worked in groups; each group aimed to design and make a product with ECOPRINTed fabrics according to pre-made instructions. The goal was to encourage creative thinking and direct it to developing new and unique products from textile waste combining with ECOPRINTed fabrics.
